The advertised Google Sites function to insert a
Picasa Web photo does not seem to work, but the following steps get it done:
To
insert a photo from Picasa Web into Google Sites:
- Open the Picasa Web photo album.
- Find the photo and right-click it. Select "Copy image
address".
- While editing a
page in Google Sites, click to position the cursor where you want the
image to appear.
- Click
on menu item "Insert" -> "Image". (Not in your browser's menu, in the
Google Sites menu!)
- Click
the button for "Web address (URL)".
- Clear out whatever you see in the text entry box, then
paste the image location that you previously copied.
- A small photo will appear. Click
"OK".
- Before saving
the page, click on the photo and select the size you want --- S M L or
Original.
